Frequently Asked Questions

How does Gimigo work?

Email addresses, phone numbers, and credit and debit cards are always changing. People change jobs, they move, they have a new phone number or email address.

Gimigo is a free app that helps people manage their accounts in one place.

Here's how it works:

  1. New email or credit card? Change it using the Gimigo app.
  2. Gimigo automatically updates your accounts with the new info (those that have Gimigo, of course!)
  3. Everything's automatically private, so you control who gets what.
Is my data safe?

We take privacy and security very serious.

Gimigo forces HTTPS for all services, including our public website. We regularly audit the details of our implementation: the certificates we serve, the certificate authorities we use, and the ciphers we support. We use HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to ensure browsers and apps interact with Gimigo only over HTTPS.

Gimigo validates and secures credit card info using a globally trusted Certified PCI Level 1 service provider. Sensitive payment card data is not stored on your mobile device.

Data, both during transmission and once it is received, is encrypted using high-grade encryption. All data written to disk is encrypted at rest using AES-256. Data centers have completed ISO 27001, SSAE-16, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 certifications.

How do I connect with others?

We're all about making Gimigo seamlessly work for you. Gimigo automatically connects you with businesses and organizations you already know and trust. After you've verified your information, such as an email address, Gimigo automatically creates a connection between the two of you. And by default, everything's automatically private so you control who gets what.

How does Gimigo make money?

When a business connects with you we charge that business a small fee. There's no hidden fees, and we're ad-free.
